Salud America!

Working with the Institute for Health Promotion Research, I assisted in redesigning and launching Salud America!, a grant funded website project focused on improving Latino children's health outcomes.
I assisted in the User Experience design and site architecture, working alongside a third party design group to create a redesign that better accomodated the needs of the project.
The site was built in WordPress and uses Foundation 6 as the baseline CSS framework. The original design assets were presented from a third party design agency, which I turned into a complete HTML/CSS pattern library. This allows for quick prototyping and deployment of new kinds of pages. The site makes extensive use of advanced CSS features to deliver many of the interactive elements, like the circular factoids and large translucent issues buttons on the homepage.
